Call On URL Trigger (C-OUT)
C-OUT is a CTI application for Cisco CUCM that allows other applications and scripts to request a URL to trigger a phone call and playback a message. C-OUT can also be used with applications like Cisco IP Video Surveillance (VSOM) when motion detention events are triggered. VSOM triggers can be directed to C-OUT using a specified URL along with the ID of the person to call and what message to playback. Contact us for an evaluation today.

Overview:

You can use C-OUT for any application or script that supports requesting a URL. Below is an example:

http://myserver:8181/?ID=1

The application then takes this information and looks up what ID 1 maps to. In this case, 1 maps to "NYC South Camera" with the phone number 7001 and the message Alert.wav. The server then queues the request and within seconds the number is dialed and the message is played.
